Remaining a major challenge across northern New England, Feeding America reports that food insecurity in Maine jumped last year, with 1 in 8 Mainers – and 1 in 5 children – now facing hunger. In addition, hunger impacts 1 in 9 NH residents, including 1 in 7 children.
